Objective of Baroda Tax Bar Association

To further the interest of those practicing in direct and indirect taxation laws.
To deal with the matters pertaining to the taxation of the various states of India and the Union of India.
To educate and inform the tax-payers including the dealers as asessees, members of this Association and Public in General by arranging talks, addresses, conferences & seminars, study circles, on the matters of changes, amendments, and proposals in direct & indirect taxation laws. This activities may be conducted by the association itself or jointly with other Association or Federation, for fulfilling the said objects.
To strive for removing anomaly, inequality & ambiguity in taxation laws and Rules and for removing administrative hardships of the tax-payers and the persons practicing in taxation laws.
To strive for procuring general relief, convenience and a better and an equitable treatment to the tax payers & to the persons practicing in laws.
To make representations to the state and central authorities , both Executive and Legislative, on any tax matters, pertaining to the interest of the members & the tax payers.
To do directly or indirectly all that may be necessary for achievement of the above objects of the Association.
To co-operate with the State Govt. and Govt. Authorities Including Union Govt. for the proper, equitable and prompt assessments and other proceedings.
